Hi,

I've spent the last few days tidying up the Now Sell! site. The
main reason was to revamp all the meta tags and generally improve
the search engine 'friendliness' of many pages. If you've been
reading for the last few weeks, you can probably guess why this
is ...

Yep, to enable me to take full advantage of the Rapid Search
Engine Submit facility I recently built for the site:

Now that I can submit to the top 25 SEs so quickly, I have at
last been able to establish a daily routine (applause please!).
Knowing that guarantees a fair number of my pages will be
indexed, I decided I *must* make the most of the opportunity.

I also added some new content, as well as tips for using the
various "Site Promotion" tools. If you've not been for a while
(or even if you have!) pay a visit. In particular, I'm sure
you'll find my tips for meta tags on the "Meta Tag Maker" page
very helpful. They're not very long, and quite simple. However,
they reveal many of the important points that no one ever seems

Still on the subject of search engines, you may remember a few
weeks ago I told you what I thought about all the hype over the
new 67 character domain names, and the reasons why you shouldn't
be rushing out to buy them. (Read the article here if you missed

Well, the other day Ken Evoy, author of "Make Your Site SELL!"
shared some inside information in his free Site-Sell Ezine that
validates my opinions:

"Here's a little tidbit that I wheedled out of two
engineers at two major engines (can't reveal them because
they could get into trouble -- we've called all the engines
over the past 2 months on another project).  One does not
even look at the content and the other laughed and said...

"It's so small.  But if you really wanted to get that
so-small edge, just register a subdomain and put your
keyword in the subdomain.  For extra measure, put it in the
html file, too."

So, if I wanted to load up a URL with "diamonds," for
example (hey, it's Valentine's!), I might use a URL like...

http://diamonds.sitesell.com/diamonds.html

Clean and simple.

Make Your Site SELL! lists all the critical criteria of a
great commercial domain name.  A 60 letter domain violates
so many of these that, all in all, it's a big negative.

Sorry... I call 'em the way I see 'em.  :-) "

Continuing with Ken Evoy, his 5 Pillar Affiliate program has been
