Stop Wasting Your Future.

Are you frustrated by your lack of progress, dismayed by your prospects? You can change all that right now and rewrite your life for ever more.

Desire and Motivation are Not Enough

We all want to succeed in life. But desire to change your life isn't sufficient. Nor is motivation. It is futile doing the same things again and again in the vain hope that somehow, someday, you will get a more positive result. Continue on that track and you might as well exchange your life for the fly trapped in a room. It bashes itself against the glass in the hope of escape, only to expire, oblivious to the open window or door nearby. People who achieve aren't lucky. They are doing the right things, consistently.

Eliminate the procrastination, self-sabotage and fears that are preventing you from making each new opportunity really work for you, and you too will begin to move forward each day and produce the results required to change your life forever. So Easy - And Yet So Difficult

All you have to do is to decide to change, to go in the right direction. It couldn't be easier, and yet most of us find it the most difficult task we are ever faced with.

There is an enormous power within each and every one of us to change the quality of our lives whenever we want to. It is the power of decision. And it is never too late to harness it. The only irreversible mistake is to ignore it.

Don't waste any more of your future. Make the decision to succeed. Not tomorrow, next week, next year, but now. And from this moment onwards work at succeeding day in, day out. No great leaps and bounds are required, just be consistent.

Do that simple thing, and there is nothing in this world which can stop you from fulfilling any aspiration you care to reach out for and make a reality.

Valuing Your Time

Like everyone else in the world, you get just 24 hours in a day, and 365 days in a year. Yet some people always seem pressed for time (working through lunch into mid-to-late evening) while others seem to have all the time in the world (and still get the job done). One way of deciding what to spend your time on is to work out its value. Here's how (the sample figures show how the calculation would go for someone earning $30,000 net per year).

a) Write down your annual salary $25,000

b) Add on any regular bonus or commission $ 5,000

c) Add on 33% for tax, social security etc $10,000

d) Add on 100% of your salary for overheads (office space, heat, light, telephone, travel, secretarial help) $30,000

e) Divide the total ($60,000) by the number of working days in the year - 230, after deducting weekends and holidays - to get your daily cost $ 260.87

f) Divide your daily cost by seven to get your cost per hour $ 37.27

g) Divide your hourly cost by 60 to get your cost per minute 62 cents

Keep these last two figures firmly in mind when dealing with unwanted callers, having to listen to other people's problems, attending unproductive meetings, travelling, reading unimportant and irrelevant paperwork, redrafting letters, putting off difficult or boring tasks, mislaying essential documents, and the rest.

Always keep in mind that day by day you have less and less time left in which to accomplish your heart's desire. Don't waste what you have left and don't let others waste it for you.
