Pretty permalinks: redirects to index.php « WordPress Support
Hi, I’m having an odd issue with changing my Wordpress permalinks to the more URL friendly model. (blog: www.gorbould.com/blog) I’m using Netfirms, which supports WP (though I installed it manually) and suggests using pretty permalinks as described here in the documentation. I checked the .htaccess file is there in my /blog directory, chmod 660. Hello, wordpress newbie here. love the software, I am using it as a CMS actually and it seems to be doing really well except the lack of horizontal menu (for pages and subpages) plugins. But I digress. Ryan Duff’s contact form plugin is great. I love the fact that it checks for valid input and a valid e-mail address. Single post then the loop « WordPress Support
On my index page the following happens: step 1,The visitor sees a list created by the loop. Step 2,then when he or she browses the list and choose to click a particular title, and then step 3, he sees a page which consists of this single title and it’s content. Nothing strange here, almost all the blogs look and follow this routine. But I wonder if I can create a page where in step 2 above the page looks exactly like the index page but . (more)
