I’ve been doing this for a year, and have taken breaks when I’ve needed to. I had do it in a vacuum, because I love writing little essays. But I find I am really inspired by the people who come by and the conversations that go on in the comments section. Every post has a second, and sometimes a third wind in the comments. I didn’t realize that until a few posts were left up for a few days and I realized that gave me time to respond to what people have to say, and do some blog visiting, while the next topic percolates under hte surface.

What I’m trying to say is that the thing I have learned in the last year is to allow for little intervals after each post — that’s when I get back into the place I need to be in to write another post and it also allows me the pleasure of interacting with people, which is turning out to be one of the delights of blogging I hadn’t really anticipated.
