This is an old, but nevertheless interesting piece I came across earlier today. It’s concerning a competition to get top rankings in Google.com for the made-up phrase “Nigritude Ultramarine” and posted by the winner, Anil Dash. I vaguely remember the competition and didn’t pay much attention to it at the time, but Anil makes some thought-provoking points.
